Past Builds click links for more info March 26 - 27, 2010 Unnamed Area - Deerfield High School, Deerfield, IL students have been involved with our Arial Home Initiative from the very first prototype Arial Home on the DHS campus to raising funds and building Arial Homes every year since. March 23 - 24, 2010 Lomas de Santa Cruz - For the third year, the Seniors from Chicago Hope Academy, Chicago, IL spent their class trip building Arial Homes for very needy families. They built two Arial Homes for the Covarrubias Flores and Guzman Higuera Families. February 20-21, 2010 Terra Santa - Tom and Jane Pirelli with the factory group build a model 3 bedroom Arial Home with many upgrades. This home will be used to demonstrate all the possibilities of added features to enhance an Arial Home. December 7 - 8, 2009 Ensenada - Tom and Jane Pirelli with the factory group build the first three bedroom Arial Home. November 2009 Tijuana - The factory workers build a demo Arial Home for a home show. It is widely received. August 9, 2009 Las Flores - The Ensenada Arial group build an Arial Home for the Hernandez Perez Family. June 28 - 29 2009 Las Flores - Jenni Roberts, family and friends from Rosary High School, build 2 Arial Homes for the Rodriquez Medina and Dirclo Ramirez Families. June 24 - 25, 2009 Veinistar - Tom and Jane Pirelli, their daughter, Jennifer and granddaughter, Hailey, with the Graft Family build an Arial Home for the Mancillas Higuera Family. May 9, 2009 Ebenezar - Local Ensenada church, led by Jose Rios and the crew, build an Arial Home for the Arambula Sanchez Family. April 14 - 15, 2009 Veinistar - Chicago Hope Academy, Chicago, IL, senior class trip to build two Arial Homes for the Gopez Gonzales and Ordunez Alcala Families. April 4 - 5, 2009 Las Flores - Deerfield High School, Deerfield, IL build an Arial Home for Guadalupe Mariano and family. This was a very special trip as this same group from DHS built Guadalupe's mother, Paubla, an Arial Home in 2007. March 16 - 17, 2009 Vienestar - Princeton PILA (Princeton in Latin America) students build an Arial Home for the Lopez Calaviz Family. March 7 -8, 2009 Vienestar - Local Ensenada church, led by Jose Rios and the crew, build an Arial Home for the Sanchez Gonzales Family. Feb 16-17, 2009 Vienestar Colonia - Tom and Jane Pirelli host Princeton Rugby Alumni in building an Arial Home for Terry Larrimer, Captain of their Rugby team who recently passed away. The Arial Home is for the Lopez Sanchez Family. January 21 - February 1, 2009 Vienestar Colonia - Local Ensenada church, led by Jose Rios and the crew, build an Arial Home for the Cordova Nunez Family. December 1-2, 2008 Tijuana - YWAM built a modified Arial Home to be used as a kitchen at their Tijuana campus. It is the first Arial Home to have an open middle section using a steel beam. November 24-25, 2008 Vienestar Colonia - Eastside Foursquare, led by Phil Fawcett, built an Arial Home for the Leal Reyes family. September 23 - 24, 2008 YWAM Campus, Ensenada - Tom and Jane Pirelli, along with the Ensenada Factory crew and friends built an Arial Home on the Ensenada YWAM campus as a hospitality suite. In 2009, the Arial Home was upgraded from a one bedroom to a three bedroom. July 31 - Aug 1, 2008 First Arial Homes in Tecate - Mexican youth built 2 Arial Homes for the Ruiz Sanchez and Marianez Velazquez families. June 23 - 26, 2008 Ebenezar and Vienestar Colonias - With 42 high school students and mentors from Loyola High School, Montreal; Deerfield High School and the Chicago area. Three homes built in Ensenada for the Parra Loera, Camacho Gomex and Lopez Canedo Families in the Ebenezar and Vienestar communities. May 28-29, 2007 Princeton University students build an Arial Home on campus to draw interest to their Ghana project and the Arial Home Initiative. May 2 - 3, 2008 First Arial Home built in Tijuana - YPO San Diego sponsored Arial Home built for the Lugo Veronica Family. April 4-5, 2008 Ebenezar Colonia, south of Ensenada, BC, Mexico - The first Senior class of Chicago Hope Academy with Bob Muzikowski built for the Felix Soto Family. April 4-5, 2008 Ebenezar Colonia, south of Ensenada, BC, Mexico - Microsoft's Phil Fawcett and Lakeshore Roofing built for the Carballo Flores Family. February 16-17, 2008 Ebenezar Colonia, south of Ensenada, BC, Mexico - YPO/WPO group Built for the Robles Villavicencio Family. February 11-13, 2008 Ebenezar Colonia, south of Ensenada, BC, Mexico - Princeton University alumni group including many members of Tom's Princeton rugby team. Built for the Vargas Mendez Family. November 22-24, 2007 Antonio Melendres Community south of Ensenada, BC, Mexico - This area was completely destroyed by a fire fueled by the Santa Ana winds. What was once a lush, mountain farming community became a ash and soot wasteland. 50 homes were destroyed along with 50 families' livelihoods. On Thanksgiving Day, The Pirelli family and the local Arial Home Factory workers built Jesus and Mary a new home. In their 50's, it was the first time they had electricity and running water. Built for the Gayton Camunez Family. July 26-29, 2007 El Paraiso in the Colonials south of Ensenada, BC, Mexico - 8 Arial Homes, 4 teams, 3 and 1/2 days. The teams built in the extreme conditions that were windy, dusty, hot and in the middle of no where for extremely desperate families. Click on date to see photos. July 14, 2007 Lake Forest, Illinois - Prototype Build Version 4 - This was the first Arial Home built with self manufactured panels. Highly successful, the Arial Home volunteers built the home in one day. This build was also training for volunteers going to Ensenada, Mexico to build 8 homes July 25th, 2007.
